Patented SafeSense Technology stops shredder immediately when hands are too close to the paper opening. Shreds up to 17 sheets per pass into 5/32 x 1 1/2" cross-cut particles. Equipped with a 9" paper entry, the Fellowes 970CC easily accepts letter size documents, and features durable steel cutters that accept credit cards, staples, and small paper clips and CDs/DVDs.
